5 ways to use crystals at the Full Moon

Imagine that you’re standing outside, under the night sky, facing the Full Moon rising in the East. You open your arms, look at her glorious bright light, while she’s pouring her celestial blessings upon you.

What do you FEEL?

I always feel a sense of amazement, childish joy and mystical wonder every time I see the Full Moon.

So instead of telling you what is the meaning of March Full Moon and give you a certain list of crystals, I’d rather invite you to EXPERIENCE directly and find what the Moon is telling YOU.

And depending on what you’ll find, here’s what you can do…

1. Cultivate gratitude with crystals for the Full Moon

You’re looking at the Moon and feeling wonder and appreciation for her magnificent beauty?

Why not take a moment and ask her to show you the beauty and the wonder in your own life?

Sometimes we can find beauty in the simplest things, such as a walk in the park, seeing the birds flying in the blue sky, or holding your favourite crystal in your hand and admiring its colours, shape and mystery.

And talking about crystals, rose quartz is a wonderful, gentle, loving crystals that will help you see the beauty and feel gratitude for what you have and what you are.

2. Step into your power and bring positive change with Full Moon crystals

Is the Moon making you feel intimidated, small or even quiet under her greatness ?

Look at your own life and ask yourself what dreams are you keeping small, where are you holding yourself back, what do you fear that stops you to express your fullest potential?

Is there any situation in your life right now where your role is diminished, your opinion ignored or your needs unfulfilled?

What is the one thing that you’d like to change then? Just one thing that matters to you the most?

Perhaps is regaining your voice, your dignity, your courage?

Whatever it is, there are some powerful crystals to help you at this time: aquamarine for speaking your truth, citrine for taking your power back and red jasper for bravery and motivation to take action and invite change.

3. Celebrate your results at the Full Moon

Is the Moon making you happy, content, fulfilled under her bright fullness?

Then look at what you’ve achieved in your life so far, take a pen and a piece of paper and write down all the things you did that hold importance to you and that you are proud of.

Remember, even the smallest things are golden treasures in your personal journey.

Don’t know what to write?

Think this:

  • What was the last new thing you learned?
  • One kind word you said to another?
  • When were you generous with others?
  • What did you do for yourself? Perhaps you meditated in the morning? Went for a run? Ate your veggies? Went to sleep early? Said NO? Said YES?

Selenite, citrine, amethyst are all crystals that will help you see the fullness, the greatness and the achievements in your life. Choose one of them intuitively and put it on your desk when you write your list and let the magic be unveiled.

4. Tune into your emotions and seek the truth at the Full Moon

Is the Moon making you feel sad, tearful or emotional?

The first thing you can do is to acknowledge how you feel, then ask the Moon:

What do I need most at this moment in time?

The Moon will show you the way, she’ll shine her grandiose luminescence over your life so you can see the truth.

But the truth is never revealed quietly, on the opposite!

Full Moon energy is most of the times tumultuous. Can be confusing emotionally. That’s why I suggest you write everything you feel in your journal, but not take action based on your emotions at this time.

What you now live with intensity is like a volcano of emotions that erupts and brings to the surface something you need to know.

You may not make sense of it straightaway and that’s ok.

Stay with it, allow everything to pass, so you can unveil the essence of truth later, at the right time.

Wonderful crystals to help you soothe your emotions are smoky quartz, amethyst, moonstone and clear quartz. Choose the one that you are intuitively drawn to, hold it between your palms and ask it to support you. Stay with it for at least 10 minutes, perhaps while listening to calming music and you’ll feel better afterwards.

5. Self-care with Full Moon crystals

Are you feeling tired and lacking energy when you’re watching the Moon? Is she bringing you a strong need for sleep and rest?

Simply follow what your body is telling you to do.

Curl in bed under a warm cozy blanket, perhaps you want to read a book, watch a film, listen to music, or just do nothing.

Go out in nature for a long walk, watch the blue sky, touch the green grass, walk barefoot on the earth.

Know that it’s ok and you’re allowed to rest and retreat in yourself, even if it’s just early afternoon and everyone else is working right now. You have your own rhythm, your body knows better and the Moon helps you to follow what you naturally feel.

Rose quartz is the ultimate self-love crystal that will encourage you to pay attention to your needs and help you take care of yourself at the time of the Full Moon. Green aventurine will help you replenish your energy in nature, and also recreate the energy of nature in your own home or even in your imagination while you meditate with it.

How I work with crystals for healing at the Full Moon

To me every Full Moon is different than the previous one, the energy is never the same, but my tiredness is.

Yes, I do feel tired at the Full Moon.

I also feel sad.

And tearful.

Some full Moons I’ll even cry the whole day.

And write pages after pages in my journal.

Others I’ll just sit in bed watching Netflix. And no, I am not a film-watching kinda’ girl, but the Full Moon is actually the only time when I sit and watch a film from start to finish.

I like rose quartz at the Full Moon to remind me that I need to take care of myself. Because my work involves so much giving, teaching and supporting other people, many times I tend to neglect my own needs. But rose quartz helps me remember to pause, rest, exercise and say NO.

So if you’re watching the Full Moon tonight, what would you FEEL?

Until next time,

Magical Full Moon Blessings,

Amelia
